I usually write about video games but I'll do sports coverage when video games and sports meet. Typically that's around Super Bowl season, when EA Sports releases the yearly Madden NFL prediction for the winner of the big game.

The first time I was covering this game was a bit crazy because the game actually predicted not just the winner, but the exact final scores of each game. This is pretty crazy!

However, since then, the video game's prediction abilities are more hit and miss. You can scroll to the at the bottom of this page for every prediction either right or wrong, but the reputation of the game as being super precise has diminished in recent years.

It is the first time that EA Sports has enlisted Marshawn Lynch to play the part of seer / fortune teller . Lynch will be looking in his crystal balls for the Super Bowl LVI prediction:
