With the Air Jordan 8 “Urban Jungle”, the fourth and final model in the “Nike Icons” series has recently become available. Like the three previous Jordan models in the Icons series, this Air Jordan 8 is also a homage to Nike and Jordan Brand design legend Tinker Hatfield. For this homage, Jordan Brand has taken four different Jordan models designed by Tinker Hatfield and given them the color design of a Nike model designed by Tinker came out Jordan 6 Fake Shoes in 1993. The Nike Air Raid was originally designed as a performance basketball shoe for the street or the open court. In order to understand why a major sporting goods manufacturer like Nike developed a shoe for the street instead of for the hall, you have to go back in time a little. In the late 80's and especially the early 90's streetball was introduced as a new trend sport worldwide and was picked up by some of the big sports brands to be marketed. Streetball was, or is, the 3 against 3 on a basket variant of the basketball game.
