  • Then connect any of your end devices to the range extender, such as a PC.
  • Connect the LAN port on the extender to the Ethernet port on the computer system with an Ethernet cable.

  • After you've completed the initial setup, you can tweak or customise your extender settings using a web-based interface.
  • Open a web browser on the device that is linked to your extender to do this.
  • Then, in the browser's address field, put http extender.linksys.com and click enter.
  • Log in to the Linksys extender configuration portal or the setup dashboard.
  • On the Linksys extender login page, enter the default username and password if you're logging in for the first time.
  • After logging in, select New Linksys Extender Setup.
  • The gadget will look for networks that are available. Enter the WI-FI password by clicking on the network name of your main router.

  • To begin, power on the extender and connect an Ethernet wire to it.
  • Then, on your browser, type linksys.com and hit enter.
  • Click Login after entering the Linksys wifi extender login credentials.
  • Select Admin Settings from the web configuration page.
  • Then select Firmware Upgrade from the drop-down menu.
  • To see what new updates are available, click the Check button.
  • If any updates are available, select Yes.
