I would not go so far as to say these developments ruin her characterization, however they definitely seem unnecessary at Cheap Lost Ark Gold best, disappointing at worst. They serve no purpose in terms of personality development, and only seemed to make a good end satisfying than it might have been had the story.
Jagex working on triple AAA mmorpg RuneScape: Remastered
Judging by the history of matches which are RS games of Jagex, it is going to be a waste of cash, and will be stopped over 1-2 years. If you wonder RS3 development has slowed to a crawl, this is why. I'm just being cynical, although I think this might be make or break for Jagex. I think it undeniable that RS3 is on the decline, given the content droughts, poor quality of content which does get released, and frequency of events like DXP to try and retain some amount of participant action. OSRS includes a limited lifespan as well; its playerbase exists almost solely because of nostalgia.
I'd be curious just how many OSRS players had never played RuneScape prior to trying OSRS; definitely a few due to the fact that it's become somewhat of a but it can not be very many. I imagine interest in a 13 year very grind-heavy obsolete MMORPG running a 20 year old spaghetti is not very high among viewers who did not grow up playing RuneScape to begin with. Some sort of RuneScape Remastered or enlarged MMO set in the RuneScape world could be RuneScape's sole hope to be applicable. You're completely right about Jagex's atrocious handling of every other game they have ever made, so I optimistic.
Look at steam numbers, or participant counts games like cod. Runescape normally has at least 20kish gamers online. Thats 24/7, most games fantasy of numbers like that. The games that are absolute have players. Can it be less than it'd certain, is it to death? Not even near it. If you make a game today you expect is has even a fraction of these gamers. Look at wolcen, they had like 75k players around the first day and they didn't even imagine or prepare that many players so the servers required a shit.
Such as they used to in the rpg and mmo facet of the market, there are to many games now times for games to support huge numbers. RS3 includes a solid 20-30k on much at any given time. With upwards of 45k at peaks. It would be somewhere in the mid to low 20's on steam graphs in position if we are comparing to steam graphs. That is a really good spot to be in contemplating that's where lots of the games that are popular set on steam charts such as ESO and last dream.
My guess is that it's going to be a completely new and different MMO instead of remastering the exact old code we perform now, I do not believe they think it's worth to remaster RuneScape in fear of it being unsuccessful and result in loss of players. Brand recognition is arguably the most effective marketing tool there is, particularly when it's one with the massive amount of nostalgia that Runescape brings to so a lot of people. The rumours of RuneScape: Remastered are that it's a completely new game which shares some lore from RuneScape, but could be set somewhat later in the deadline and have an entirely new universe (possibly sharing some of the same areas as the current RuneScape, but reconstructed from the earth with no grid system and other constraints of the engine).
