Heikh Mohammed is, in his capacity as the ruler of Dubai is also the United Arab Emirate's Vice-President and Prime Minister. Sheikh Mohammed is also responsible for other duties in addition to his duties as the ruler of Dubai. The Sheikh and his ministers are accountable for the implementation of the common policy of the Federal Government in and out of the UAE in accordance with the UAE constitution. He is accountable for providing directives to ministers on matters of government and supervising and coordinating the executive authorities of the federal government's agencies and ministries. As Vice President of the UAE is also required to fulfill the duties as President of UAE in the event that he is not available.
