If I am being honest here I really don't know. Largely I come online just to farm exp and quest points because I'm close to buy OSRS Gold reach maxed and pursuit Cape with 380+- pursuit points. I already have everything I want for pvming. So runescape gameplay at this time is dull. Looking for a family active kind clan with a great deal of events and individuals really frightening in discord or ts. Want some friends. Not looking for a clan having a clan leader going for the big numbers of clan members.
I believe the largest difference is how you view Runescape. Before I'd riches which was my whole aim. When I play, I've purchased everything that's buyable, there are no things I need etc and at first I did not want to play anymore. I felt I had achieved everything there was (no self respecting cape because, eww, skills) and collecting honestly isn't that fun for me.
HOWEVER, now I have enjoyable playing. If I enjoy a boss I can kill it, even if the gain is garbage. If I like a costly ability (I love herblore) I can do it, and it does not even matter when I play economically. Wealth on RS is very similar to wealth irl. Is time. You no longer need to manager your own time so you could afford to buy or do certain things, you get to spend your time doing things you like, whatever the price, and that's really very enjoyable.
Not there yet but likely will not take long. Guess I will go comp and do logs like everyone else is doing. I feel you. I'm eventually planning to max and then comp because I've simply purchased everything I really care about and having rares for no other motive than to make MORE money I do nothing with almost murdered Runescape for me.
How great is it? What are the key differences?
I have not played in a very long time. I quit right after the expansive exchange was inserted. I lost interest and burnt out on it. I have a few questions. Back when I played, you didn't really require a membership until about level 45 (I believe ), is this still correct? Can this wilderness? I would suggest watching a returning player manual to RS3 from youtube.
Btw yes RS3 is more of a pvm game than pvp. So pvp in this game is quite dead because nobody wants to risk. I would recommend OSRS, if nostalgia or pvp articles is exactly what youre looking to escape the experience. If however, you are open to the new changes in this sport or if u elaborate lore, updated/modernized gameplay compared to the notorious old runescape skill grinds then RS3 is Runescape for you to stay.
If you really enjoy the PVP and the feel of the 2007 style Runescape system, I'd say go with OSRS. You like the EOC system and if PVM and quests are more significant for you, I would say RS3 may be the better choice for you. You may swap into the legacy program in RS3. I swap when I get tired of RS3 and play with OSRS and then I keep playing with RS3, if that gets boring. People who argue about game variant to be exceptional are delusional. They simply waste time but in the close of the day, everyone constantly will have their own preferences and opinions. Do not get sucked into it and play any variation of buy RS gold Runescape, so that you can choose for your self, which variant you would like.
