Lost Ark has been fighting a war against the bots that have infiltrated Arkesia since the game's global release earlier this year. Buy Lost Ark Gold at MMOSO with the lowest prices and fast delivery. In a blog post, Amazon acknowledged the ongoing problems and continued "frustration within the community," and said it felt it too, announcing that it had permanently banned "several million accounts that participated in botting, hacking or gold-selling."

In addition to issuing the ban, Amazon said it has been working to minimize the impact of bot accounts that have yet to be finalized. Measures to address this include changing mission and event rewards to stop bots from farming gold, as well as adding Easy Anti Cheat and the game's own native detection and reporting system to improve response time to bad actors.

Amazon also has level-gated chat to stop brand new accounts from spamming ads, and updated the game's automatic chat moderation with the latest Gold seller buzzwords.

Some fans have called for a captcha system or mandatory two-factor authentication when logging in, though Amazon says none of these are on the card.

All of these factors combined have produced millions of permanently banned accounts, which Amazon's recent VPN block also prevented from coming back online.

Amazon mentioned some measures but said it was unlikely to be implemented. Captcha and two-factor authentication are the most requested by players, but both require a sizable platform and architectural changes to implement in Lost Ark. Legal issues surrounding real-world owner identification have also thwarted the idea.

That said, Amazon promises to continue exploring new ways to help fight bots at scale. Amazon will also continue to work with Smilegate and Easy Anti Cheat on anti-bot measures.
