Completely Animal Crossing Items agree. I was convinced that Nintendo would know the expectations that would include announcing a 50 second general direct rather than using the"mini" qualifier or even simply doing several of these statements via twitter like they've been doing for the past year. They sincerely appear to think that guide was worth the entire year + wait and we still haven't gotten any info on major franchises like you mentioned, and somehow got a 2022 date to get a sequel to a game that honestly doesn't need you. Splatoon 2 already felt more like a growth than worthy of being a full fledged sequel, but figured they'd do what they do with Smash and kart and launch one per match, but today they are just giving us a different one that most probably won't be all that different and likely would have better been served as an expansion than a complete on sequel. Meanwhile no Metroid news. Not even a remaster announcement which people have been claiming has been arriving for like 3 decades now I believe.

I saw this comment in another thread concerning yesterday's Direct and I think it hits right at home for a lot of the folks commenting here. To everyone thats complaining about how horrible the Direct was, remind yourself how old you are. I do not doubt at all the majority of you who are complaining are young adult/adult gamers. I also believe a lot of you once again had wayyy too high of expectations. You all need to keep in mind that Nintendo's focused demographic are children, families, and casual gamers. While they have thrown more mature/"hardcore" gamers a couple titles like BOTW, Fire Emblem, as well as the bonus levels in Odyssey, one of their main focuses are having play that's accessible to as many individuals as possible.

Being angry about things that don't exist seems really tiring and sad to me. Why not people only play games they like? I'll never have the time and cash to perform with all the excellent games available. I simply don't understand why being angry is indeed important to a people. If you don't like something, do not think about it. Stop caring. Put the energy into things you do like.

From 1 standpoint, yes. Nintendo understands which demographic they want to appeal animal crossing new horizons bells for sale to and know how to do it successfully. What is wrong with this?
