Charlotte first found see us in June 2021, she wanted a dress which was comfortable and floaty and she requested a soft delicate lace that wouldn’t irritate her skin. Charlotte fell deeply in love with our Freedom Collection chiffon slip prom dresses and our lace poncho, she especially loved how a poncho ‘swooshed’, however, the lace would be a little bit heavy on her so we showed her our boleros in cobweb-like lace and she or he fell deeply in love with the concept of using a poncho produced in the softer lace. We had both spoken a great deal about attempting to propose to one another for a long while, I think the covid pandemic delayed things just a little. In the end, Cammy beat me into it and proposed on our anniversary by having an indoor picnic in our living room because it was chucking it down outside. We’d discussed a great deal of what we should want for our big day together and both really enjoyed the entire process of planning. We brought an actual binder to glue all of our ideas into and it would be a really lovely activity to complete together within the run-up towards the big day.
Tell us about your big day. What was your theme? Did it all visit plan? What was your most memorable moment?
We both always wanted a marriage venue which had a cottage garden feel with a lot of flowers, bees and butterflies, we immediately fell deeply in love with Middleton using its gorgeous wisteria-filled walled garden. We wound up going to have a sweet pea and wisteria colour theme of pinks, purples and blues.
We were very fortunate in having perfect weather, sunny although not too hot. Small things didn’t go exactly to plan but both of us barely noticed once we were so obsessed with each other. The best moment during the day by far was Cammy saying I Do way too soon, super eager, making all of our family and friends laugh. During the whole ceremony, we couldn’t stop laughing and smiling encompassed by everyone we like.
Would you need to do anything differently? What tips can you give couples out of your experience of planning the wedding and the day itself?
The day itself passes so fast, I am not sure if I would do anything differently but I would certainly try and savour each moment more if I could.

For my dress, I had always wanted something very romantic, vintage-inspired, and flowy that I could spin around in and Lynette and Luci absolutely made that happen. The minute I tried around the freedom collection it immediately felt like my dress, the good thing about the collection is the fact that I could allow it to be completely unique in my experience.
I knew I wanted a boho and vintage-inspired dress as that's my usual fashion style so I googled boho wedding gown shops near Birmingham and located the Boho Brides website and merely loved everything about this.

From my first appointment with Lynette I felt very welcomed, I had been experiencing significant eczema breaks out for about annually and felt very self-conscious about fitting dresses but Lynette was incredibly helpful, particularly in helping me choose lace using their collection that was super soft on my small skin. Luci constructed my gown so beautifully and every fitting resulted in the black prom dress being incredibly comfy to put on all day making me look beautiful.
Tell us the way you accessorised the wedding gown
With Lynnette’s help I selected some lovely accessories having a pearl theme running throughout, the small pearls around the veil caught the sunshine beautifully and also the lace hairband with freshwater pearls added a classic touch that actually matched the venue setting.
