The playable building begins at Fractured Peaks with my hero's horse dying leaving him trapped in a cave by alone for his entire stay Diablo IV Gold. From the caves came the first destination, Nevesk, a very small town where things aren't quite as they seem. Lilith did already have an effect on the people living there however her true power comes from having people indulge their dark side. This was the first encounter my character was able to have with other NPCs, and it was clear that developers would like to give the protagonist more of a role within the story by having their own dialogue and taking an active role as a cutscene.

The town is Nevesk where the impact of Lilith's influence on the residents of Sanctuary is revealed. There's far more to her than just being evil, which makes her as an interesting antagonist when compared with other Great Evils from previous Diablo titles. While her true motives aren't obvious at first, Lilith's presence is felt right away and was deliberately crafted by the development team.

"By making you unravel her story about what's happening in the world, you'll be able to hear her motivations," Director of the game Joe Shely. "You get to understand what she's trying to do and you get to get closer to her, and maybe there's even a little sense of mystery there, where you're like: watch Star Wars and go like maybe Vader could be right. I'm thinking that having more interaction the villains of the galaxy means that it's a much more satisfying resolve as you play through the narrative, as you go through it."

Diablo 4 doesn't stray from its hack-and-slash-style action that the series is known for, but movement feels more fluid and active thanks to the evade option. Introduced within Diablo 3, the evade button is more easily integrated into the sequel. Certain enemies can telegraph their attacks to the player, allowing the player to move away. The developers claim that as players progress buy Diablo 4 Gold, more ways to get around like being able to pull off multiple dodges simultaneously, may be unlocked.
