On January 31, 2023, Peacock shut off their free plan option for new subscribers. The service launched with a free tier that limited access to the content catalog, notably excluding new movies, next-day TV premieres, and full seasons of Peacocktv.com/tv originals. Now, the only way to stream Peacock’s content is to pay for one of the Premium plans.

Existing accounts on the free plan will stay free, and users who formerly had complimentary Premium accounts (through promotions, etc.) before their trial period was up.
