The Bible isn't always written in a manner so one can carry our information to the level of God. Instead, it gives us with a glimpse of God's interest in and interface with men and women at some point of the records of mankind. Learned pupils have spent their lives trying to get to the bottom of the mysteries within the Bible if you want to have solutions, but for the general public, the Bible is a reference manual for us to seek advice from as we live our lives. God wants us to be close to him, to understand him as God, and to behavior our lives as he publications us (adhering to the Ten Commandments is a good start). The Bible is a set of "Books" that includes steering from God himself (that he gave to Moses, who wrote the earliest books within the first section of the Bible), in addition to different Books that were written via prophets (guys who have been contacted via God, who commanded them to tell us something unique). These books are organized in a phase referred to as "The Old Testament."
