2. Water removal effect
The cold dryer is limited by its own principle. If the temperature is too low, the machine will cause ice blockage, so the dew point temperature of the machine is usually kept at 2~10°C; Deep drying, the outlet dew point temperature can reach below -20°C.
3. Energy loss
The cold dryer needs to adapt to a higher power supply; the adsorption dryer only needs to control the valve through the electric control box, and the power supply is lower than that of the cold dryer, and the power loss is also less.
4. Air loss
The cold dryer removes water by changing the temperature. The moisture generated during operation is discharged through the automatic drain, so there is no loss of air volume; There is about 12-15% regeneration gas loss.
5. Failure rate
The cold dryer has three major systems: refrigerant, air, and electrical. The components of the system are relatively complex, and the probability of failure is greater; the adsorption dryer may fail only when the valve moves frequently. Therefore, under normal circumstances, the failure rate of the cold dryer is higher than that of the adsorption dryer.
