My primary concern is the client and WOW TBC Gold global interest . Of course, the 3.X client is far superior because the engine is refined and the tools are simpler to utilize. But I'm afraid I'll lose this Vanilla aspect of switching between 2.X to 3.X.X and I'm not interested in releasing WOTLK-related content. Additionally, I'm not sure how many people would be interested to play on a 2.4.3 server.

There is a lot of custom servers being launched and the volume is never increasing. My personal opinion is that they're always launching without much content in the first place. I can assure you that an application would be up and running only after having put in the work.

3.3.5 emulators are not less when it comes to quality , compared to 1.12.1 emulators. This information isn't available to me. Trinitycore has 34k commits against 4,8k for vmangos. TrinityCore offers a variety of options in terms of stability and quality, as well as you can use a wide range of applications that aren't accessible in 1.12.1 emulators.

VMaNGOS The strength of VMaNGOS is that it is a part of the work that was put into while it is used to run Nostalrius as well as Light's Hope. There are many issues, instability or exploits may occur which are difficult to determine. This is only visible on servers that have large populations. This is VMaNGOS strength. Because its primary purpose has been vanilla servers, it can scale well. It is one thing that it does and does it well, vanilla. Darrowshire is a good example of this.Recently they also added an update of the Warden anti-cheat

Other have also said this however I'll try to frame it differently. If you're doing this to have entertainment, then go for it. The choice of a client is entirely personal. The WotLK client would be the better choice in my opinion, as it offers lots of new features to play with and the content is basically the same except for things like talent and abilities.

If you're embarking on this enormous project with the goal in mind of establishing a massive playerbase, then you're wasting your time. Players don't want play on servers that are custom-made. Even even if they wanted to but their insatiable desire for new versions of your servers will render it obsolete in three months.

Thank you for joining this discussion. Though I didn't anticipate so many responses, it's clear that I'm paying attention to each of them. The main issue is using Azerothcore or another cheap WOW Classic TBC Gold emulator to operate this project and align with my principles. While I'm still undecided, I will keep the debate open to let you know what I'm thinking about.
