It was a whole group, we all joined at the aion classic kinah buying same time. Except that running out of the instance to finish the hairpin quest is a violation and then coming back into the same instance .....but everyone does this. Therefore, it isn't as bad as I'd expect. So, I wrote them and received the copy and paste reply. It was not even interested in looking at their error. Sad.

This isn't true. It's just a copy-paste answer that they're offering everyone, even those who haven’t done any other than normal SR hairpin run. I know of a person who hasn’t been online for more than a week, and was even banned for this. They might have just checked those who have left and re-entered SR repeatedly, and then put them on the banned list via an automated check, not taking the time to check the authenticity of their quest.

So I finally got someone to explain why I got exiled. Be aware that running SteelRake and taking the HairPin quest will get you ban if you fail to turn it in several times. This is what I did with the LFG group I was part of. We would kill mobs and collect our 12 hairpins, then go to the shugo to turn in the quest then go back into Steel Rake and continue on with this method. Actually, this is something almost everyone would do when the game first came out back in 2009. Didn't realize this was an exploit ?! I replied to them, asking if this was an exploit or an error from their side. To me, this is not an exploit but seems to be by design? Be careful when dealing with the hairpin quest.

Although Aion Classic has a bigger player base, it's still quite a distant with regard to how Aion retail is. There were only six players at one time last time I checked. Aion Classic was the one of the combat patches most praised by players. This is partly due to its animation-oriented combat system and also the fact that some class identity types haven't been affected by power creep. Aion Classic does have 1 hour free play although it's not much but it's a good thing because you can still play a small amount if you need to stop your sub (and should you decide to pause your sub then that prob signifies that you're busy enough to spend a lengthy sitting time anyway).

What is the difference between Classic and F2P in terms of gameplay, graphics or player base? I've played one character up to level 8 with the f2p edition and before going any further I'd like to decide if it's worthwhile to continue playing this particular version or cheap aion classic kinah if Classic superior? Maybe the pros and cons of each? It would be incredible!
