HTML:- HTML is a HYPERTEXT MARKUP LANGUAGE that has been created to create Web Documents. So, first of all, we will know about its full form:-
HYPERTEXT: – HYPERTEXT is a text that includes a link to other text. This is electronic text, which is linked to other electronic documents and is clickable. Hypertext is text-based information.
MARKUP :- HTML Tag is used to create HTML documents. Suppose I want to put a title bloom tutorial on my web page, so right now it is showing you straight.
LANGUAGE:- HTML is a computer language. In this, Code Language is used to create Web Documents, which we call Tags. HTML has a Syntax | Tag you can use any

- This is an easy and simple language that can be learned easily.
- This is Platform Independent Language.
- It makes the web page attractive by adding Videos, Audio, Image,s, etc. to the web pages.

How is HTML used?
HTML is used to create web pages. For this, you will need a Text-Editor like Notepad, Notepad ++, Atom, Bracket in which HTML code is written. And second, you will need a browser on which you will be able to see your web pages. There are many TAGs given in HTML such as Graphics, Font-Size, Font-Weight, Line-Height, and Colors. After writing HTML code, you have to save your documents like- home.html or index.html, and writing this .html is compulsory only then you can see your documents in the browser otherwise don’t.
HTML Versions :-
- The first version of HTML came in 1991, which was represented only by HTML.
- The second version of HTML came in 1995, which started being represented by HTML 2.0.
- Its third version came in 1997, which started being represented by HTML 3.2.
- The fourth version came in 1999, which was represented by HTML 4.01.
- After this came a version called XHTML which was a combination of XML and HTML. This version came in 2000.
- Right now the latest version is HTML 5 which came in 2014.
