Striker car - What is a striker car - Striker Hellcat
This vehicle was remarkable because it was authentic, and I recognized its authenticity—what a beauty! I recall sitting on the couch with my father, eagerly anticipating the premiere of the new series UFO. When it aired, this fantastic car appeared in the opening credits, instantly captivating and obsessing me. I didn’t just want a toy version; I craved the actual car and was determined to obtain it.
I was fortunate to have a friendship with Derek that persisted until his passing. His loss was deeply felt by everyone he inspired, as well as by those still involved in the effects industry. I had many conversations with him about Straker’s vehicle and its design. He shared with me that while driving it was a challenge due to its Ford Zodiac base, he was genuinely pleased with its appearance and had a deep affection for the design. This only intensified my desire to possess it. Unfortunately, it had vanished completely.
Maybe you’re a bachelor who likes being single, so you favour the idea of a convertible with only two seats, or maybe your job involves driving hundreds of miles on the motorway every week, so you fancy a comfortable car with a good-sized engine.
