Surprisingly, a couple who met in Animal Crossing: New Horizons was actually engaged in reality. What a happy thing this is. The game was released in early March 2020, and then it became almost an essential part of people's lives in the quarantine zone, so it brought together many players, but nothing was luckier than this couple.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons arrived on the March 20th, immediately after the beginning of the international pandemic of COVID-19, which meant people had the required time on their hands to sit down at home and play game titles. Through the connection with building one's own island, players had elected interesting design choices, whereby players recreated apartments from the game.
According to Fox 13 News, way back in March, men named Steven Brown met Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Brown amassed a lot of Cheap Animal Crossing Bells, and that he wanted to present to friends, so he posted within a Facebook group that has been dedicated to the action about it. A stranger, later discovering her name was Shayla Johnson, within that group took him standing on that offer. When he visited the stranger's island, they gave him a tour rather than ending the interaction when he gave them the bells. A spark originated in that, and in addition, they played for four hours straight. That triggered a friendship that grown over the months and remained a serious relationship, accompanied by a safe meet-up face-to-face. That went very well, and the two are engaged to be married.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the most popular game of 2020. It really was nominated for multiple awards, including Game of the Year on the Game Awards in December. There's no denying that lots of players have fallen fond of the little game that lets them build their island to their own personal vision, but concerning this couple, love transcends just being capable of getting that really rare crafting recipe.
Now, the important question is if their wedding is going to be taken place on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons islands or perhaps in real life - or both? Similar to this player did, making their island in a giant coral reef. Even so, it is a cute story, showing that even love is found amidst a pandemic.
