A new batch of leaks from Honkai: Star Rail has revealed details about the signature Light Cones for upcoming five-star characters Kafka and Blade. With HoYoverse's Version 1.1 Special Program for the sci-fi RPG set to arrive tomorrow, information has already begun to emerge about the following Version 1.2 update. HoYoverse would reveal Blade and Kafka earlier this week as the two five-star characters set to join the game in the update expected to arrive in July. Now, leaks have begun to detail the new characters' Light Cones.

Light Cones serve an important purpose in Honkai: Star Rail, not only providing stat boosts to characters but coming with unique effects to benefit certain playstyles. Each new five-star character added to the game typically comes with their own special five-star Light Cone, featured on a Light Cone banner alongside their release. A character's signature Light Cone typically provides buffs uniquely suited to their playstyle, like Seele's buffing her Basic ATK and Skill damage the higher Speed she has. Now, Kafka and Blade are set to release their own powerful new Light Cones.

A pair of leaks shared by Honkai: Star Rail leaker Affinity reveals the signature Light Cones for both Kafka and Blade. Kafka's featured Light Cone, dubbed "Patience Is All You Need," provides the wearer with a base increase to their Break Effect percentage. Attacks while equipped with the Light Cone will also increase the user's Speed with an effect that can be stacked multiple times for larger gains. The Light Cone also provides a 100% chance of enemies receiving increased damage over time from a character using Kafka's Light Cone.

Blade's signature Light Cone, titled "The Unreachable Star," provides players with a percentage-based boost to both their maximum HP and Crit Rate. The Light Cone features bonus effects that activate when players either take damage or use their own HP for an attack, increasing the damage of their next attack. As with other Light Cones, both characters' Light Cones are tied to their Paths with only Nihility characters able to equip Kafka's and Blade's exclusive to Destruction characters. Both five-star Light Cones are expected to release alongside their characters during Version 1.2.

Between new Light Cones and characters, Honkai: Star Rail is expected to grow substantially throughout the first few updates following its April launch. Version 1.1 is heavily rumored to welcome three new characters to the RPG with five-star characters Silver Wolf and Luocha and four-star character Yukong expected. Leaks have also teased several characters beyond Version 1.2 including Fu Xuan, Misha, and a new version of the starter character Dan Heng. Fans should have plenty in store throughout upcoming patches as Star Rail looks to maintain its strong early momentum.
