What is Matka cuisine and where does it come from?
Matka cuisine is a unique and relatively unknown cuisine stemming from Indian communities. Matka means ""earthenware pot"" in Hindi, and dishes prepared in Matka are cooked in Terracotta cook pots, which give the food a delicious smoky flavour from the cooking method.
