We want Duel to feel fast, clean and effortless. Nobody should have to fight with a website before they can actually enjoy it. Pages should load quickly, navigation should make sense, and the whole experience should feel like it belongs in 2026 — not like someone discovered a forgotten casino template from 2014 and added a few neon buttons.
But being modern isn’t just about making things shiny.
Behind the interface is the less glamorous stuff nobody posts on Instagram: infrastructure, databases, security, scalability, performance and a lot of engineering decisions that only become noticeable when somebody gets them wrong.
When everything works? Nobody cares.
When something takes three seconds longer than expected? Suddenly everyone has a PhD in software engineering. 😂
